- Curriculum courses leading to the Associate in Arts (A.A.) and Associate in Science (A.S.) degrees for college transfer are offered in Accounting, Biology, Business, Communications, Chemistry, Drama, Economics, English, Geology, History, Humanities, Math, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology and Spanish.
Classes in Business Administration and computer Technologies (Associte in Applied Science Degrees).
Continuing Education classes in a wide range of areas are offered in the evenings (6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.) and on weekends (Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

- What Continuing Education classes will be offered?

The following classes may be offered:
- Computer classes: Graphic Design (Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, and Digital Photography), Microsoft Office Products, Introduction to the PC and Windows, Keyboarding, AutoCAD, Java, Visual Basic 2005, and QuickBooks.
- Basic Skills: ESL (English as a Second Language), ABE, and GED.
- Small Business Seminars: Starting a Business, Legal Entity, Building a Business Plan, Tax and Financial Programs, Marketing and Sales, and International Business.
- Partnership Programs: SBA (US Small Business Association), SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives), NCMBC (North Carolina Military Business Center), and NC and Federal Government Partners.

- How do I apply? Can I turn in my application at the Northern Wake Campus?
- Complete the standard Wake Tech Application for Admission – it does not ask you to designate a campus, but in making your course selections you will choose from those listed for the Northern Wake Campus. Computers are available for your use in completing the application.

- Can I be a full-time student at the Northern Wake Campus?
- Yes. Apply early for the best selection of courses.

- What kinds of student services will be available?
- Admissions, placement testing, advising, registration, student activities, and financial aid services will be available from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday. Extended hours may be available during pre-registration periods. Career and personal counseling, international student services, and disability support services will be available on a rotating schedule.
- ILC (Individualized Learning Center) hours are Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Math and Science Building Rm. 213.

- Do I need an appointment to meet with an advisor?
- An appointment is not necessary, but stongly encouraged – especially during peak advising and registration periods.

- Where is the Northern Wake Campus?
- The Northern Wake Campus is located on Highway 401 North at Interstate 540, exit 18.

- Are EFL classes taught at
the Northern Wake Campus?
- There will be limited EFL offerings in the Fall of 2009. Please go to http://efl.waketech.edu for more details.

- Yes, please see the Continuing Education schedule.

- Are GED classes offered?
- Yes. Evenings only (6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.).

- Is there a library, bookstore, and cafeteria?
- Yes. The library is open Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A bookstore and cafeteria will be available in the Spring of 2009.

- Are evening classes and programs available?
- Yes. Classes in Business Administration and Computer Technologies (Associate in Applied Science Degrees) and a variety of Continuing Education courses are available in the evening.

- Can I get an associate’s degree at Northern Wake Campus?
- Yes. The Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are offered.
